Hello, blogosphere! I’m a 22-year-old student in my last semester at McGill University, where I study Anatomy and Cell Biology. What’s a science student doing writing a blog on pop culture, you ask? Well, for one thing, I live for it. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I’ve managed to keep track of box office grosses while studying gross anatomy, and balance my interest in white matter with my love for the Great White Way. My weekly television schedule wouldn’t be complete without Desperate Housewives, 90210, Glee, Modern Family, and Parks and Recreation. When it comes to movies, my taste runs the gamut from All About Eve to Zoolander. I also love music, and can regularly be heard singing off-key to my iPod. My other hobbies include reading and writing. PoP1010 marks my first foray into blogging, so any comments and/or suggestions are appreciated!
